These homeowners had lived in the property for 20 years! It had a lot of charm and character, but it felt dark and old-fashioned. Having lived in the home so long and working full time, the owners found it hard to visualize any updates and find time to organize contractors. So they hired us to completely coordinate extensive structural repairs which as well as rearrange the aesthetics. The home was transformed from old and outdated to refreshed and stylish, while still keeping that classic charm. For this project, we scheduled and managed all contractors, the budget and supervised all on-site work completed.

The homeowners were thrilled with how quickly the property sold and their return on investment. The property sold for a suburb record in just 25 days!

To Add Value To This Property:

• INTERIOR PAINT

  • To brighten the interior, we used a natural white to lighten the walls and removed coloured feature walls. This created a more neutral aesthetic throughout the home.

• PARTIAL STAGING

  • We removed any belongings that were bulky or cluttered yet were still able to utilize some of the furniture items that the homeowners already owned. With the remaining budget, we brought in just a few pieces of furniture to modernize and style the spaces effectively. By using partial staging, the home felt light, spacious and more valuable.

• EXTERIOR PRESSURE WASH

  • We hired a professional home pressure cleaner to remove all mould and mildew on exterior walls, pathways, decking and sheds. This made the property feel clean and well maintained.

• STRUCTURAL REPAIRS

  • A large portion of the budget went to necessary structural repairs. We identified issues with deteriorated timber that needed replacing before they could market the property. This eliminated buyer concern and potentially negotiating the sellers down on price.
